KIC Start
(Kids Inclusive Cinema)
KIC Start is an initiative to screen films for children with autism, their families and friends. The launch was on 16 December 2006 with a screening of The Polar Express.
It was a fabulous success with 103 adults and children attending. For some, it was the first time they had been to the cinema with their child or as a family group. For many, it was the first time to the Showroom and for many more, their first time to a cinema.
The screenings take place in our largest screen, Cinema 4, which has 280 seats.
The film is screened with low lighting on throughout and a lower level of sound than normal.
Also, we offer a quiet room that is available throught the screening time.
The screenings take place once a month on a Saturday morning. For more info on KIC Start and Showroom Saturdays screenings, please click here.
