The Coen brothers are on superb form with this modern, ruthless western adapted from Cormac McCarthy. Josh Brolin stars as a hunter who stumbles across the aftermath of a border drug deal gone wrong, and with the cash and the narcotics left unguarded he takes them and hightails it out of there. Unfortunately Javier Bardem the go-to guy for drugs cartels is soon on his tail with Tommy Lee Jones as a local cop trying to sort the mess out.
