Unsheffield: Future Users of Cool Technology

Unsheffield is a participatory grassroots technology unconference thatbuilds on the success of BarCamp Sheffield and GeekUp. This year’s theme is Future Users of Cool Technology and will appeal to anyone who’s interested in making technology useful - not just geeks. The event will stimulate ideas, understanding, collaboration and debate around all manner of issues affecting design and usability, access to technology, practical applications, sustainable innovation, the digital infrastructure and the creative processes that can deliver life-changing technology. We’re supporting the event with public workshops and activities that will help demystify technology and reveal some of the exciting ways in which cool technology can make a real difference in the third sector, education, business and in regular life.
